1. Weeping Fig (Ficus Benjamina)- Looking for a way to improve your air quality and add some greenery to your home at the same time? We think the weeping fig is for you! And its stems that look like vines make it a unique and interesting addition to any room! During the growing season make sure to feed it and water only when the top layers of the soil are dry. This is one of Upcountry’s favourites, it looks so classy, and it’s so easy to take care of!

2. Dragon Tree- Dracaena Marginata- This is the perfect plant to help you feel like you're on vacation all year round! With its bright green leaves and sturdy stem, the Dragon tree is sure to make a statement in any room. Whether you're looking to add a touch of tropical flair or simply want a little bit of greenery in your life, this plant is definitely worth considering. They are at their best with bright yet indirect light, it’s best to grow them in a kitchen or bathroom as they love humidity! We love this one as it creates a statement in any room!

3. Succulent- If you're new to the plant parenting world, or if you're just looking for an easy and low-maintenance option, succulents are a perfect choice. These little guys are fiercely independent and mostly self-sufficient, so you won't have to worry about them too much. Occasionally water will be enough, make sure to just dip them into the water when they are feeling dry( make sure you don’t do this when they are still moist as you could overwater them! 4. Aloe vera- although I’ve already mentioned succulents, I need to mention Aloe Vera as it’s an all-time favorite! It’s known for its medicinal properties. It enjoys a warm spot on a sunny windowsill, and it also tolerates some neglect and doesn’t need much water at all! The distinctive fleshy green foliage is filled with cooling sap that’s good for cooling burns and soothing dry, sun-damaged skin.
Its super easy to take care of, put it into one of our houseplant pots we have in our store. A fun fact about Aloe Vera is that its 99% water!

5. Epipremnum (Devil's Ivy)- This is the perfect plant for anyone looking to add a touch of greenery to their home without taking up too much space.It creates a tropical feel in your home, be aware its toxic to dogs and cats! It doesn’t light the direct sunlight, if the leaves begin to get lighter this means you should change its positioning to be a bit of a lighter zone! A bit of plant food each month will keep it happy!

6. Peace Lily- This plant is beautiful, and the meaning of its white flower represents the white flag which all over the world means peace. Position your Peace Lily away from direct sunlight for the best results, it doesn’t need regular watering, just make sure to keep the soil moist not wet!
